Day Two Hundred and Seven: Takin it easy

If anyone thought I was perfect, they clearly haven't been reading this blog very closely.
In my defense I probably get ready and cute and am productive the majority of the time, but there always seems to be that one day a week that I have to just surrender and be happy with doing nothing "important."Well, that's not entirely true. I find it very important to snuggle up with my little bug on the porch and enjoy seeing daylight.

Day Two Hundred and Four: All Smiles

Jadyn was LOVING laundry folding time on the bed. Then again, who wouldn't love to be thrown on a pile of fresh, warm clothes?

Day Two Hundred and Three: Tutu wonderful.

Day Two Hundred and Two: Fill in the blank.

Not pictured.

Day Two Hundred and One: Christmas Card Finalists

We finally did get some pictures that we deemed worthy of my brilliant Christmas cards. Don't feel bad if you didn't get one. We were slackers and only got about 15 out...just in time for Valentine's Day hehe.

Day Two Hundred: Happy Us!

Day One-Hundred and Ninety Seven to Ninety Nine: Sick Days

Jace and I got a generous dose of food poisoning from a lunch on the way home from Utah.

It was the absolute WORST day of my life. Throwing up everything+nursing= holy krap I didn't know I could feel this weak.

I literally had zero to go on to entertain and feed Jadyn. And my poor husband was in no better shape. We may or may not have wallowed in our misery all day, never getting dressed, unshowered, and practically immobile.

The good thing about food poising is that as violent as it is, it doesn't last long. We felt great the next day...well very nearly great. It took me about two more days to really get myself dressed again, and take pictures for that matter.

Good thing this girl's got my back through thick and thin.

Day One-Hundred and Ninety to Ninety Six: Thanksgiving

Ok, so I fudged the dates a little bit on this one, but I am so tired of the picture scavenger hunt! So pretend our Utah Thanksgiving trip really was about a week.

We managed to round up our entire family in Utah, which is always exciting. I miss my siblings so much. And some of them I don't get to see too often (eh em, Tyler).
We made some delicious food
(ok...Mindy made delicious food, but we all helped!)

Jadyn thoroughly enjoyed the mountain of Black Friday ads.
She also LOVED playing with Carter. He didn't leave her side
the whole time, not even to play with his other cousins.
The men were in charge of drinks...hence the foggy bowl of something.

It was so nice to see everyone and to make a new batch of memories.
These moments have to be cherished because they happen so seldom.

Happy Thanksgiving! There are so many things I have to be thankful for.

Day One-Hundred and Eighty Nine: Prepare yourself.

You are about to view some intensely adorable pictures. Brace yourself...
Did you survive? I, myself almost burst at the seems.

Another wonderful birthday surprise was a gift from
my wonderfully talented sister-in-law: this painting
of Jadyn in this very dress. How delightful.

Day One-Hundred and Eighty Seven to Eighty Eight: Happy Birthday to Muah.

22. That sounds so grown up. I am happy that I am still young
enough to get excited about getting older.  I'm sure I don't act 22.

It was a wonderful birthday weekend. I am a titch spoiled because
whenever my birthday falls on a weekend I expect it to be celebrated
for the entire weekend. Makes sense right?
And this lame picture is the only documentation we made. Sorry, half the people in this
picture. It's probably because I got impatient with how long it took for Jace to take the
picture. I don't even know why it was his job to take the picture.

My dad was leaving for a trip before my birthday so we did the pie and presents
celebration a little early. As per request, I made a list, even though I hate doing
that! I always leave things out or put things that I didn't really even want.

I put socks on the list to give people something simple in addition to the other
random things. So what did I get? Three packs of socks. BEST GIFTS EVER!
I love a new pair of socks. I also got a beautiful new set of luggage

...ok maybe I do act 22

Jace was holding back the celebratory spirit on the night we celebrated "because it
wasn't my birthday" (psh). I was a little peeved, but as always he wooed me with
some happy morning gifts on my real birthday: a monopod for the camera and a
bigger sd card...ok ok...I'm old and boring. But it made me happy.  He even signed a
card for Jadyn.  So cute

Day One-Hundred and Eighty Six: Bargain Shopper

While I did some birthday shopping with my mom Jadyn checked out the deals for me.
I'm so proud.
