Day Seventy:Couch Potatoe

We have one Baby Einstein Video that we have tried with Jadyn a couple times with no success. Just recently, she discovered how interesting the T.V. was. So now, I can put her in front of it in the morning while I eat breakfast.

Day Sixty-Nine: Hey! Did you know there were toys on my bouncer mommy?

Jadyn has finally entered the "I'm a interested in things in front of me" stage. Before, I put her in the bouncer, and it didn't matter if that owl was in front of her or a rock...she just didn't care. But now, I can put her in her bouncer, put her little friends in front of her and cook dinner. Amazing!

Today comes with a bonus! A naked picture! But only as much as Jadyn would allow me to show.

Day Sixty-Eight: Happy Naps

I LOVE mornings with Jadyn. It is the most precious time of day. I'm not sure if it's because she is still a little sleepy, but she is such an angel when we wake up. Almost every morning I pull her into bed with me after Jace leaves for work. I wake up to her facing me with her sleeping eyes, smiling as she tries to open her eyes a little more. It is so precious. This is a picture after she took a late morning nap on Grandma's bed. She absolutely loves taking naps on my mom's bed.

She really is a modest girl. From the time she was born she would cry every time she had to be naked. In fact, it used to be the ONLY time she would cry. She has warmed up to showing a little more skin, but only because of her obsession with grabbing something at all times. If my shirt is not available, she goes for her own.

Day Sixty-Seven:Little Squirt

This picture really captures Jadyn's cute little self. She is sweet, short, chubby, and always has her hands on her face.

Day Sixty-Six: Jadyn Discovers her hands...and how yummy they are.

Jadyn is loving her hands more and more each day.  She doesn't ever really stop to look at them. She just gets right down to business and shoves them in her mouth. It used to be a very dramatic event whenever she lost her pacifier. Now I leave for a second and come back to her sucking away at her fingers, covered in drool.

Day Sixty-Five: My little doll.

I feel like I have my own little live doll I get to dress up every day.
Jadyn and I try to have a conversation at least 10 times a day. She coo's and I coo back. She grunts and I grunt back. We have some very intelligent talks.

Day Sixty-Three to Sixty-Four: Youth Conference

Jace and I are both Youth Leaders at church. It puts us in a bit of a bind when they have combined activities, but we love our callings and luckily have very willing babysitters close by. We had Youth Conference this weekend at the reservoir so my two days consisted of:
Pumping, having pizza at camp, going home to find Grandma and Jadyn talking to eachother, sleep, swim with kids, make lunch for kids, run home and feed Jadyn, give sick girls rides back, service project, girl picked up a fishing line to throw it away and was surprised to find a snake attached to it....and finished it off with bringing Jadyn to the last stretch so the kids could obsess over her. The girls LOVE when I bring her to activities. By Saturday night, Jace and I were ready to crash for a very long time.

Soon after the bishop shared his message, it started raining. It was nature's way of saying "Go home!" I always knew I liked nature.

Day Sixty-Two: Sleeping Habits

She has a few sleeping habits now. One being that she has to hold on to something like my finger or her little giraffe. Another habit is covering her eyes. Sometimes she just can't stand the light. When I'm rocking her to sleep she ends up burrowed in my arm pit to block the light.

Day Sixty-One: Givin her the big switchy.

I put her down for a nap. She was so peaceful.

Suddenly she began stirring. Her arms were flailing, her legs kicking, and she was grunting. She would not fall back into her peaceful state unless I let her hold my finger.

Eventually I had to get back to being productive, so I inserted a decoy Mommy finger.

Day Sixty: Oh Fancy

Day Fifty-Nine: Pictureless

All I can say is that it was a fussy day and pictures were not on my mind.

Day Fifty-Eight: Fish

Thank you Hammonds for giving Jadyn this cute little fish dress!

Yellowstone'10 Vacation: The Video!

Day Fifty-Six: Happy Two Months!

Day Fifty-Five: My husband's saving grace.

My husband is a very good provider. Currently, he is working three jobs, going to school full time, and is in the Young Men's presidency at church. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of everything, he runs out of day before he can study his scriptures. I am not going to the Celestial Kingdom alone so I have found a way to incorporate scriptures without taking very much extra time. These are just a few examples:

Day Fifty-Four: Not a wink.

The consequence of sleeping in the car all day on vacation: the first night back at home she refused to sleep. This is her awake as ever at 1am.

Day Fourty-Eight to Fifty-three: Vacation!

There were waaaay too many fun pictures to post, so I just made a video out of them. Here it is, along with a couple of our favorite pictures that we edited.

....we're workin out the kinks with the video.

Day Fourty-Seven: Packing

We spent the day packing for our trip! It really did take the whole day because Jadyn did not grasp the concept.

Day Fourty-Six: Grabby Hands

She grabs ALOT now. She can't fall asleep for a nap unless she is holding on to my hair. When she was taking a nap with Jace, she progressively pulled his shirt down lower and lower. This is such a cute stage.

Day Fourty-Four: Sunshine Girl

I love Sundays. I get to dress her up in cute dresses and bows and show her off. I especially love how it always makes Jace beam when he sees her. He can't help but scoop her up and dance with her and tell her how lovely she looks.

When Grandma Harmer came to visit, she bought Jadyn this adorable tutu. I told Jace she wouldn't fit in it quite yet, but he refused to believe me. I was right that it was too big, but Jace was right that she still looked simply precious.

Day Fourty-Three: Heads Up

She can hold her head up like it aint no thang.
