Day Ninety-One: Let's have a sit.

While I packed for our trip, Grandma willingly watched Jadyn for a little while. I found them sitting on the porch, watching cars go by.

Day Ninety: Arts and Crafts

Getting ready a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Harmer and Jenedy and Victor (they're living with them while Victor gets his MBA) in Arizona. I got a little ambitious two days before and decided to make an apron for Jenedy for her birthday, coupled with a little one for Victory Morgan, a train for Morgan, and a Blanket for True. I get it now! I understand why so many moms try to sell crafts online. It's what they do all day. I must say, I have been converted.

Day Eighty- Nine: Three month shots.

A couple days premature, but I had her in this tutu onesie. It couldn't go to waste!

Day Eighty-Eight: zZzzzZ

It's not that I like my baby asleep more than I like her awake, but she is at an age where she demands my constant attention...JUST me. No one else is quite as wonderful as me to her (can't argue with that). It is so sweet and flattering really, but I can't get anything done now. Not a stitch. It's so exhausting being so lovable!

Day Eighty-Seven: Gym it up.

I don't really understand why these things are called gyms. Maybe it's that their brains get so stimulated by them, it is a literal work out. Whatever the case, I like calling it the gym. And Jadyn likes going to the gym... for about 5 minutes. I think I have been mislead. I always heard "my baby stared at the same thing for hours and just laughed" What kind of baby has that long of an attention span? I'd like to see it! Oh well, maybe that comes later. I think I am getting a little more A.D.D hanging out with babies all day.

Day Eighty-Six: Daddy Talks

Jace tries sooo hard to get a laugh out of her. It was adorable.

Day Eighty- Five: New Changing Table

On another Project Saturday, we decided to build two more desks to extend from the two we had already built. One we made a changing table. We upgraded from a blanket to an actual changing pad. It was really quite an exciting change for Jadyn and I.

Day Eighty- Four: Quality Moose time.

Try as I might, there is nothing quite as entertaining for Jadyn as T.V. She is absolutely mesmerized. I swear we don't veg all day, but on occasion it's a nice break. While Jace and I worked on some saturday projects we just let her hang out with Aunt Moose and watch the tube.

Day Eighty-Three: Walks

We try to go on a walk almost every day. She used to get so upset when we went for walks. I couldn't figure out why...Then I put her car seat cover down, so she could see the world. Now walks are her favorite.

Day Eighty-Two: Zonked

This girl loves her sleep.

Day Eighty-One:Big Girl Shoes

I have been waiting for these shoes to fit. Oops! I waited too long. They are only going to fit for a couple days probably. Since we didn't have anywhere to go that day, I evetually took them off because I was afraid she would lose circulation to her feet! Paranoid me. I got braver a couple days later and had her wear them all day.

Day Eighty: Green.

Day Seventy-Nine:Double Whamy

I didn't take a picture this Sunday, but I remember it well...I was teaching in YW, Jace was teaching in YM, Mom and Dad were in Utah, Melissa was in California...So where did Jadyn go?? With me of course. Good thing I am really good at using one hand now.

Day Seventy-Eight: The morning of the fan.

I took Jadyn upstairs and laid her on the ground while I got breakfast. She patiently lay watching the fan. Eventually, we both fell asleep on the ground watching the fan go round and round. A couple hours later, we woke up. I immediately reached over and picked Jadyn up so we could go play and was surprised to be greeted with a fuss. She continued to fuss until I put her on the ground in the same spot...so she could continue watching her fan. I wasn't allowed to change her. I wasn't allowed to feed her. Jadyn spent from 6:30- 10am doing nothing but watching the fan.

Also, it was Project Saturday again! We made desks and a shelf.

Day Seventy-Seven: Window watching.

Friday was a rainy day. Jadyn and I enjoyed watching it through the window.

Day Seventy-Six: One picture just doesn't quite do it.

Day Seventy-Five: Fan-tastic

Jadyn is fascinated by fans. She literally could lay under one for hours. I am definitely not complaining. I now think ceiling fans were one of the greatest inventions of all time.

Day Seventy-Four: Perfect Size.

Day Seventy-Three: Project Saturdays consuming us.

We really are Carpentry junkies now. We can't get enough of building. We are constantly thinking of other things we can build for the basement. Eventually, it's going to look weird with all of the things we try to cram down there, but it's so fun! Mondays are SUPPOSED to be Jace's homework days. It's his only day off from school and work. But he couldn't get the desks out of his mind. I came down to check on him for lunch and caught him on the Home Depot site. Somehow I found myself at Home Depot a couple hours later picking out wood.

Day Seventy-One to Seventy-Two: A new Obsession

Sooo...we live with my parents, and really don't know when we will be able to afford a house. I'm just waiting for a million dollar check to come in the mail or Extreme Makeover to discover us; I'm sure it'll come any day now. But for now, we are enjoying the extra help and trying to make the best of our little basement home. The other day I was picking out frames for our wedding pictures we still had not framed and happened upon some really cool posters. I thought to myself "psh! I can make some cool posters like that."  So I went home and picked through my old Europe pictures to make black and whites out of, noticed a neat tree picture I had taken, desaturated everything in the picture except for the green moss, decided we should redecorate the bathroom into an earthy style, took more earthy pictures, painted, spent all day looking for shelving, talked to Jace about it, decided we should build some, spent all Saturday building and staining new shelves, painting, framing pictures, and tada!....all because I went into a frame store. Saturdays have now become designated Jacey and Lindsey project days. This was last saturday. This saturday we built new desks and a shelf for our office corner, but you don't get to see those pictures until I get caught up to that saturday! In short, we were too distracted to take pictures of Jadyn. But she was an avid participant in Project Saturday.
