Day One Hundred!: Wow

One hundred days have gone by. How amazing! It doesn't take long to feel like you've been a mother your whole life. After 100 days of Jadyn I feel like I really can handle anything. She makes me feel so confident. Every little thing she does makes me proud. There are a million interpretations for the name "Jadyn" but I stick with these: "God has heard" and "God has healed you". She was an answer to prayer. Even before I saw her face, I knew she was special. She changed me all through my pregnancy. Now, in just four short months of life on earth, this little being has healed, humbled and transformed my heart. She is a gift, that's for sure.
These are some of the newborn pictures cousin Elizabeth took for us. It's so surreal to look back and see how much she has grown!

And here is from actual day 100. Moose was leaving for school in a couple of days, so she held Jadyn as much as she possibly could.

Day Ninety-Nine: Gettin back into the swing of things

It had been a week since we did our daily routine of Baby Einstein, breakfast, scriptures, then a nap in the morning. Jadyn certainly missed her Einstein...or completely forgot about it...whatever the case, she was extremely excited to see it again.

Day Ninety-Eight: 16th Street Mall

The day after we got back, Jace had to go back to school. We were a bit tired from the traveling, so Jace ditched his first class. Since he would only be downtown for a few hours, I decided to take him and have an adventure with Jadyn. We went to the 16th Street Mall! It was so fun to walk around. I forgot to bring the stroller, so we had to go the baby carrier route. My back was hurting so bad by the end of the day. But oh the things we saw....

Day Ninety-Two to Ninety-Seven: Arizona

We had a wonderful visit with the Harmer clan.  A movie is in the process, but for the meantime, here are some pictures to hold the grandparents over.

Day Ninety-One: Let's have a sit.

While I packed for our trip, Grandma willingly watched Jadyn for a little while. I found them sitting on the porch, watching cars go by.

Day Ninety: Arts and Crafts

Getting ready a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Harmer and Jenedy and Victor (they're living with them while Victor gets his MBA) in Arizona. I got a little ambitious two days before and decided to make an apron for Jenedy for her birthday, coupled with a little one for Victory Morgan, a train for Morgan, and a Blanket for True. I get it now! I understand why so many moms try to sell crafts online. It's what they do all day. I must say, I have been converted.

Day Eighty- Nine: Three month shots.

A couple days premature, but I had her in this tutu onesie. It couldn't go to waste!

Day Eighty-Eight: zZzzzZ

It's not that I like my baby asleep more than I like her awake, but she is at an age where she demands my constant attention...JUST me. No one else is quite as wonderful as me to her (can't argue with that). It is so sweet and flattering really, but I can't get anything done now. Not a stitch. It's so exhausting being so lovable!
